This week's Human at Stringo is Pierre Jonsson, our new Assembler who loves to come to work with a smile on his face and a passion for premium. He brings excellent industrial experience to the company and new ideas to make the product better. Just don't ask him to eat Greek snails.
Pierre, what's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
“Snails in Greece. They served them with vinegar, and I thought they were really weird in the mouth, like eating rubber. Maybe butter and garlic but not vinegar.”
What is your passion? When you get to work, how do you mentally prepare for a good day?
“I think it's coming here to do a good job, having that attitude. That I have the things planned and prepared. Then I can feel that I've done well today, that I've tried to do my very best. It makes me feel really good and satisfied.”
Tell us about your role in the company.
“Right now I'm an assembler for DuoMovers and I really like that. Technically, it's a challenge – I've never put together anything at that level professionally and in that respect, I really enjoy the work. I also think it's a very useful device for our customers and it naturally gives me a lot of personal satisfaction to be a part of.”
If you had one superpower, what would it be?
“Oh, flying. I mean to fly all by yourself, nothing mechanical, just to fly by your own power. It's a superpower I've always fantasized about when I was a kid. I had dreams that I did just like the birds with my wings flapping their arms in the dreams.”
