This summer, Håkan Jonsson joined us in the R&D division. With his previous experience from the automotive, pulp and paper, and offshore industries, he constitutes a valuable addition to our development work.
“I hadn’t intended on changing jobs. I was happy at the technology consulting firm where I was employed, but I was captivated by the ‘march to progress’ that exists here at Stringo.”
Håkan is a designer, project manager and product developer, and has previously worked as a consultant in several major industries such as the pulp and paper, offshore and automotive industries. He was employed as part of Stringo’s goal-oriented research and development initiatives. Thus far, Håkan has served as a powerful cogwheel in the work to develop a new, reinforced front section frame for the Stringo S5 vehicle mover.
The fact that he hails from Örnsköldsvik is an added bonus since he – like everyone at Stringo – feels immense pride in the High Coast World Heritage Site from where Stringo also originates.
“I was happy from the outset,” says Håkan. “It’s inspiring to be a part of the journey on which Stringo has embarked. There is incredible potential, and the investment into research and development shows tremendous confidence in the future. Company management is readying the organization for expansion – today and in the time to come. It feels truly positive.”
